The Program Details
During the month of January 2023, we will meet on Zoom three times per week as a group for Excerpt Classes, Mock Auditions, and Mindset Workshops.
Excerpt Classes
One of our faculty members will lead a masterclass based on the Associate Principal Flute audition list for the CSO. Each participant will perform in 1 excerpt class.
Mock Auditions
We will offer a weekly mock audition where participants can run a short list of excerpts for the class.
Mindset Workshops
These group coaching sessions will lead the participants through exercises and concepts that foster a nourishing, positive mindset around auditioning.
BONUS SESSIONS
1. Bonita Boyd, Professor of Flute at the Eastman School of Music, is generously offering a Q and A session around trusting your artistic voice during the audition process;
2. An audition prep Q and A from our experienced faculty who will share their insights from BOTH sides of the audition screen.
In addition to almost 20 hours of online instruction and performance opportunities,
you’ll also receive:

Access to a private Facebook group with daily encouragement, accountability, and coaching;

A digital excerpt book of the CSO Associate Principal Flute audition repertoire;

A workbook of mindset exercises and worksheets;

One year access to the class recordings;

The first 5 people to register will be able to schedule a free 60-minute coaching session with Katie Frisco.
