Hi There!

My name is Katie. I’m a flutist and educator whose passion is to help musicians meet their goals, learn tools to feel confident, and HAVE FUN!

As a mom of two teenagers (and a tween!), I know how intense your life is right now. Your schedule is full of wonderful things - school, sports, friends, job, family, and FLUTE!

That's why I designed this course. We walk one step at a time to build your skills on the flute so you can feel amazing when you play in band next fall. All while making great music with other students just like you!

What's it like to work with Katie?

Did I mention I have a BM and MM in Flute Performance from the prestigious Eastman School of Music, have held Principal Flute positions in orchestras, taught at a university, and worked with oodles of awesome students just like you for the last twenty years??

Annette B., parent

Katie is a very caring teacher who makes lessons fun.  My daughter enjoys going to lessons, always comes out with a smile on her face and is learning the important foundational skills for playing the flute over this first year of lessons
